Nous Research has released NousCoder-14B, an open-source coding model that the startup claims matches or exceeds the performance of several larger proprietary systems. The model was trained in just four days using 48 of Nvidia's latest B200 graphics processing units. Nous Research, which is backed by crypto venture firm Paradigm, is positioning this release as a competitive alternative to existing proprietary coding solutions.
